Main presentation:
Managing the Supply Chain with Radio Frequency Identification

Have you ever wished you could hear your inventory talk to you and tell you what it is doing and where it is REALLY hiding in your factory? It can talk and it has a lot to say. Deborah will help you discover what RFID can do for your product and information streams. She will provide a general overview and share some critical elements to consider before adopting this new and exciting technology.

Speaker:  Deborah K. Leiker is a Boeing Wichita manager. She has served various organizations during her thirty years with Boeing. They have included Structural Bond Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling and Production Support. During the last five years she has been involved with managing the supply chain through Production Control and Materials Management with a specific focus on the technology required to support this venue.

Note: Beginning November 1, when you turn in a reservation for the PDM dinner meeting and do not show up, you will be billed the $10 for the dinner and expected to pay the $10. In September, it cost the chapter $150 for dinner reservations that were included in the quantity turned in, but people did not show up. You will have to give Roger your name, address, and phone number when you turn in your reservation. You can still come to the technical session for no charge, just call Roger and let him know you are coming for the technical session so we can have enough chairs set up at the back.
