If you don’t see your name below and you earned your CPIM certification before January 1, 1999, please take advantage of Society’s amnesty announcement and submit your CPIM maintenance application before year end.

Amnesty Period
Because of the apparent confusion surrounding the first two years of maintenance application deadlines and APICS' desire to avoid suspending the credentials of individuals who may have misinterpreted the deadline information, an amnesty period for individuals due to apply in 2003 and 2004 has been established.

The amnesty period is in effect through December 31, 2004, and offers 2003 and 2004 candidates an additional opportunity to apply for maintenance without having to earn the additional professional development points or to face suspension.

Current Status

Some Wichita Chapter CPIM certified members are running out of time on their certificate maintenance. Two of the three CFPIMs {67%} and 34 of the 57 CPIMs {60%} scheduled for certificate maintenance this year have qualified for another five years. Time is running out for the others. Remember how tough it was to get your CPIM certification, please don't lose it by failing to file your maintenance application. The bulletin and forms are easily downloadable from APICS: http://www.apics.org/downloads/default.asp, look under certification. The bulletin contains answers to frequently asked questions and a table for points. It also contains an individual membership application. Note:  The above should have received a letter from APICS stating your certification is good for another five years.   If not, please contact membership at 1-800-444-APICS, verify your mailing address and ask for a copy of your letter.   If you are not sure of your certification date, they can tell you that also.

Chapter records reflect only completions for Wichita chapter members.   We do not have any information of forms submitted but awaiting approval or other action.
