Main presentation:
Visioneering Wichita

Visioneering Wichita - Visioneering Wichita is a very ambitious project that in my words, is designed to make Wichita all it can be in terms of quality of life for our present and future citizens. The project involves the Wichita Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses the surrounding four counties (Sedgwick, Butler, Harvey and Sumner) and their cities. Visioneering has been in progress for less than a year and to date incorporates the ideas and thoughtful conversation of more than 2,000 residents, gathered through 30 focus groups, eight community meetings, a series of Vision Task Force meetings with the steering committee, and represents all of the communities and counties in our region. The visioneering process has now developed a strategy that supports the long term vision from all the community inputs. The vision and strategic plan includes foundation building blocks for economic development, education, quality of life, government, infrastructure and private-sector leadership. VisioneeringWichita is now seeking organization partners to make the vision and strategic plan a reality. The strategic plan can be viewed at the www.visioneeringwichita.org website.
