APICS Wichita Members and Future Members,

The Wichita chapter of APICS has a new year’s resolution suggestion for all of our members, past and present. Each year either you or your employer pays for your APICS membership, but do you really take advantage of it?

For a new years resolution, we would like to propose that each of you consider investing in yourself by taking advantage of the upcoming spring list of PDMs and seminar coming up as listed in the newsletter. Or you can take advantage of the new mini-workshops on Inventory Control Management. You can also work on your networking skills and share supply chain triumphs with other area professionals. In just two hours per month, you can take advantage of your membership and begin increasing your economic value. As we say at the tax office, we are entering “peak” time of our APICS year.

If you missed the March PDM, you missed an excellent presentation by Gary Gossard on Improving Inventory Performance and Bottom-Line Profits. What an honor it was for Gary to take time out of his busy schedule to be our Wichita PDM speaker. For March, we are having a plant tour of Pioneer Balloon Company in El Dorado.

Best Regards and Best of Luck in keeping your resolutions!!!

Sincerely,

APICS
Ron Kammerer, CPIM, CIRM, EA President 2004-2005
