1. Use the APICS Website. (Apics.org) You can update your member information so you will be notified of the most current developments. You can read articles of interest to your work environment You can sign up for a webinar on the latest topics of interest for $99 for as many as you can fit in your conference room. You can listen to archived webinars for free. You can use the online enterprise software database. You can join in a discussion list of your interest. You can find all you need to know about the certification processes.

2 Use the chapter website apics-wichita.com You can find out who your chapter officers are. You can find out when the next professional development meeting is. You can find out what the seminar for this year will be. You can find out where review courses will be offered. You can find links to other chapters and other websites. You can find job listings.

3 Fill out and return the membership survey each time it is requested.

4 Attend professional development meetings.

 

5 Network at professional development meetings.

6 Fill out the meeting evaluation form after the meeting.

7 Read the APICS Advantage that you receive as part of your membership.

8 You are entitled to a free copy of the APICS dictionary as part of your professional membership. Ask for it.

9 You are entitled to a CD of conference proceedings each year with your professional membership. Ask for it.

10 Volunteer to be a company coordinator.
