Largest Student Chapter at the Conference
This year our student chapter from WSU was
represented at the APICS International Conference by 16 students, 11 of whom
were scholars. This was the largest student chapter representation at the
conference. WSU Scholars got a chance to interact with scholars from around the
world. As their main activity at the conference, they were presented with a
case to work and solve during the duration of the conference. WSU students did
very well. The first place team included two WSU scholars, Nitin Khanna, Karan
Karthik; and the second place team included Nilesh Kulkarni, Prashant Lodhia &
Vishal Magdum from WSU. Overall the students had a great time for the 5 days,
and now they are back to books, assignments & exams, but are already looking
forward to Denver next year.
