Main presentation:
ERP as Tool for Continuous
Improvement in the Aerospace Industry
Edward Talerico, Industry Director for
Aerospace and Defense at Infor will discuss the strategies currently in use
at Infor to assist A&D customers in driving the business case for ERP
evolution and growth within their enterprise. The Framework for Excellence (FFE)
model will be discussed as well as examples of significant business
improvement obtained by some of Infor’s A&D customers. The discussion will
be based on past performance that has made implementation of ERP technology
successful.
Edward Talerico is currently the Industry
Director for Aerospace and Defense at Infor as he has been for the past six
years with SSA Global, Invensys and Baan. He is responsible for driving
growth from the A&D Industry by applying deep domain expertise to guide
selling and marketing for customer meetings and marketing activities as well
as future solution development. Edward brings an extensive experience from
working almost ten yeas at the Lockheed Martin Company as a systems analyst.
At Lockheed, Edward implemented MRPII systems and evaluated ERP systems for
selection and implementation. Prior to becoming the industry director of A&D
at Baan, Edward held positions in consulting, pre-sales, and management.
