Certification Matters

The only constant is change. In our daily lives as well as our professional lives. The certification maintenance is one way for designees to stay at the top of their game. It is not difficult to do. You need to earn 75 points within 5 years of receiving your designation. CFPIM designees must earn 100 points.

Activities that help you earn points. APICS Membership (Professional, Corporate Voting or Student) - 6 points per year. APICS Conference & Exposition – 24 points for full conference registration and attendance APICS Webinars - 1 point per instructional hour APICS CPIM and CIRM Exams -10 points for each passed exam APICS CSCP Exam - 20 points for passing the exam Serve on the Chapter Board - 2 points per year served Continuing Education Professional Development dinner meetings - 1 point per presentation of at least 1 hour Degrees courses – 1 point per full hour of instruction Conferences, seminar, workshops - 1 point per full hour of instruction
