Top
Management Night!
At this months meeting, we are honoring Top Management
from our members companies, presenting the Company of the
Year and Member of the Year Awards as well as honoring our
Past Presidents. In the month of November we have another
great tour at Print Source. I hope you will save the date
for this event.
Go Back to School with the APICS CPIM and CSCP
preparation courses. APICS is ever evolving the body of
knowledge with Supply Chain, IT, CRM, SRM and Operations
Management. You will understand there are many choices in
these business areas and obtaining a certification will help
you improve communication with your management. You will
feel more comfortable speaking to management for you will
learn the language they use in managing the supply chain. We
all receive a lot of imperatives, APICS will help you be
more prepared in your organizations and develop you into a
future supply chain leader, that has many tools in your tool
box and these tools will help you become more flexible and
more prepared.
According to Purchasing.com’s 2006 Salary Survey, the
average compensation of APICS CPIM-certified professionals
was 17 percent more than for those who were not certified.
