| Spring is finally here... and how good it feels to be warm again! Spring is also seminar time for APICS. Help me to welcome Tom Schulte, our Professional Development Meeting and Seminar speaker, to Wichita. We are also planning a top management night for the PDM on April 24th. What a great opportunity to show your boss all of the advantages of APICS along with getting to hear a nationally ranked speaker talk about leadership. So invite your boss and join us at the Petroleum Club! |

| We are still taking nominations for Board of Director positions for next year. If you are interested in serving on the board, get with Steve Plaster (theplasters@prodigy.net) to talk about your interests and we'll find a match for your talents. This is also a great opportunity to learn something new, not to mention it will
look great on your resume. Also going on this month is the engineering open house for WSU on April 6th. There will be a lot of interesting projects to look at and discuss with the students. Please feel free to stop by if you get a chance. We are also accepting papers for the Fogarty Student Paper contest. If you are a full or part time student and have a topic in resource management that you can write about then go to APICS.org and download the information and submit a paper to me by May 15th. There are dollars involved for the winners! Last year we had a student win Regional and go on to the National contest.
In April we will also elect officers to the Board of Directors for next year. |
