| Greetings! The next meeting of the Wichita Area Supply Chain Council is on Tuesday, February 20, 2001, from 9-11 at NIAR in room 307. I promise the meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 AM and end promptly at 11:00 AM. The meeting will begin with an overview of WASCC and then we will review the status of the generic supply chain model. We will have modeled three companies and will present the generic model from that data. Status will be given on the survey and the focus group. A review of the status of the e-Hub project will then be given. Also, representatives from various support services will make short presentations on their services and then be available to answer detailed questions after the meeting. Forrest Malone from the Electronic Commerce Resource Center (ECRC) in Palestine Texas will speak on "The Electronic Commerce Resource Centers -- and their Assistance to Elements of the Supply Chain," and Greg Call from the Kansas Dept. of Commerce & Housing, Trade Development Division will discuss international trade opportunities. This council is only as successful as the participation by local industry. |
