President's Corner by Kate Keltz, CPIM
apics
A New Year is here and we survived the holidays. Hope yours was a pleasant time. What are the goals that you've set for this year? Are there APICS goals involved? Which of the many new educational opportunities can we help with more information -- Fundamentals, the course for those just starting out, CPIM for the resource practitioner, CIRM for the resource manager or ASCM (Advanced Supply Chain Management)? Please contact any member of the board for more information. Kate Keltz, CPIM
This New Year also brings the time of questions and inquiries from the board as to ways that we can better serve the membership. What are the topics that you are interested in? Which plants are you interested in touring? How do you need to have classes and workshops structured? Look for the membership survey in the next few months to let us know what you think or don't even wait until then let us know by putting comments on the web site as you're logged in to look at the newsletter. Go to the Guest Book and place you comment there. Join the rest of the APICS group in January in learning about Six Sigma from Barry Blades on Jan. 9th.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
