Dinner Meeting
APICS
Presentation:
This presentation will also provide an example of small bite or spot light training some companies are using to meet the educational needs of their workforce while lessening the impact to production. Small bite training is delivered to groups in their own work setting often during regularly assigned meeting times. In addition to learning the concept or information being spotlighted, the group has the benefit of experiencing the learning together. This quite frequently helps in applying what is learned and minimizing implementation roadblocks often found through the traditional classroom setting.

Just-In-Time/JITmay be one of the most misused phrases/acronyms in industry today.

JIT seems to be on the tips of tongues everywhere, but often times in a mistaken or negative context. This month's topic, "What JIT Isn't" attempts to explore some of the misconceptions of Just-In-Time manufacturing. Be ready for an interactive and possibly entertaining look at this challenging philosophy.
