Our Featured Presenter:
Gene Brockmeier, CFPIM, CIRM

Gene serves as Information Technology Development Manager at Bombardier/Learjet in Wichita, Kansas. He has been a member of the Wichita APICS Chapter for over 20 years and is an APICS Qualified Instructor. He has more than 20 years experience in manufacturing systems including 15 years in aerospace manufacturing. He has instructed APICS principles to over 1,000 students and has spoken nationwide on reducing manufacturing costs. He is a past chapter secretary and speaker.

Technology is a hot topic in manufacturing today and many companies are launching into developing complex technical solutions without understanding the underlying foundations that can make or break them. Many improvement projects suffer from the same problems that can be eliminated by understanding and applying ten key success factors. This presentation will discuss justifying technology in terms of competitive advantages as well as uncover how to get your organization(s) prepared for state-of-the-art technology with ten key factors in improvement projects.
