| Welcome to May! Congratulations to the newly elected APICS Chapter Board members. It is always exciting to have new and rejuvenated board members to compliment the existing & retiring board members. Other opportunities exist to help the chapter without committing to the board for a long term. If you are interested in volunteering, give me a call. I would like to give special thanks to those who have been on the board this year. With your help, we will apply for one of the passport awards. This is recognition of how well the board has managed the chapter. |
The April dinner meeting coincided with our chapter board elections and they were followed the next day by our annual seminar. This year we were fortunate to have Richard (Dick) Ling give a presentation on Sales and Operations Planning. Thanks Dick for the fine job. I also want to thank Kate Keltz who arranged an exceptional dinner meeting and seminar. GOOD JOB KATE! In May we will have our second plant tour for this board year as Electromech opens its doors to APICS at 6:30 pm on May 9th. I hope everyone will get a chance to attend the tour and see the fine work that John Forrest and his colleagues do. Sincerely, |
