Seminar Update...by Kate Keltz, CPIM
April 12, 2000 dawned cool and clear. Early stirrings at the Hotel at Oldtowne brought out an international attendance for the APICS seminar on Sales and Operations planning. We started the day by recognizing Rudy Valdez of Mexico, from Hopkins Mfg. as the attendee from the greatest distance.
Dick Ling, the co-author of Orchestrating Success gave the presentation. Fifty attendees represented seventeen companies from three countries and five states. Learning happened at a great rate and we were able to wrap up right on time at 4 p.m.
. Linda Salem of Great Plains Mfg. and Andy Best of Mega Mfg. were the lucky winners of the S&OP videos presented by Dick Ling.
I would like to extend a big thank you to those who attended and those who helped out to make our seminar successful again this year.
