General Information About APICS CPIM and CIRM Testing

Electronic Tests are administered by ASI Register on line http://www.asisvcs.com, or call 1-800-274-8399 ASI1706 - Wichita ASI Center - Bldg 400 North Rock Business Park 3450 N Rock Rd - Ste 407 Wichita KS 67226 DIRECTIONS: 1/4 mile north of intersection of K-96 Highway (Northeast Expressway) and North Rock Road on the East Side of Rock Road. Tests are given Tuesday through Saturday at the Wichita ASI testing center. Morning and Afternoon testing sessions. Evenings are not available for testing. Registration Fees APICS Members* $100.00 per exam. Nonmembers $135.00 per exam


Paper tests may be administered "on-site" for a minimum of ten tests at $125 per exam. If there are less than 10 tests administered, it is still required to pay APICS for ten tests. APICS will provide someone to administer the tests. The local APICS chapter must sponsor on-site paper tests. For more information, contact 1-800-444-2742 # 2274.


The Testing Modules Are:

	Basics of Supply Chain Management Explore the basic concepts in managing the complete flow of materials in a supply chain. Testing Window is Oct-Dec 2000. Beginning Jan 2001 can be taken "on demand" Master Planning of Resources Explore processes used to develop sales and operations plans and identify and assess internal and external demand and forecasting requirements. "On demand" after Oct 1, 2000 Detailed Scheduling and Planning Focus on the various techniques for material and capacity scheduling. "On demand" after Oct 1, 2000 Execution and Control of Operations Focus on the areas of prioritizing and sequencing work, executing work plans and implementing controls, reporting activity results, and providing feedback on performance. "On demand" after Oct 1, 2000 Strategic Management of Resources Explore the relationship of existing and emerging processes and technologies to manufacturing strategy and supply chain-related functions. "On demand" after Oct 1, 2000
