MASTER SCHEDULER
Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for the development, processing, editing and
communicating of the Valley site department and process master schedule on a
daily, weekly and monthly basis. This position is accountable for executing all
work required to insure that the production plan is met including planning,
scheduling and coordinating the master schedule by reviewing and releasing work
orders and inter-sites requests in accordance with Material requirements
Planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or
two years experience in manufacturing, planning, purchasing or accounting.
2) Personal Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Word and Excel.
3) Knowledge of the Lean manufacturing techniques.
4) Acceptable attendance and performance record.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) BS or BA for an accredited college/university or 4+ years experience with MRP
systems and associated concepts in a manufacturing environment.
2) APICS, CPIM, CFPIM, CSCP or CIRM certification preferred or working towards.
3) Prior experience setting up and planning with KAN BAN pull systems.
4) Understands priorities and balances short-term and long-term requirements.
5) Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
6) Will be required to work in indoor and outdoor manufacturing areas frequently

an immediate opening for a Materials Manager, which is an exempt salaried level
position in the Garner, Iowa facility.
SUMMARY This position is responsible for ensuring the consistent flow of
materials to meet manufacturing build schedules and forecasts. Analyzes customer
and vendor needs, anticipates problems and determines appropriate course of
action. Meets corporate inventory guidelines while maintaining customer demand.
Oversees and is responsible for on-time delivery of materials for manufacturing.
Maintains competitive pricing on purchased material.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees in the
Materials/Warehouse group.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 4-year degree in related discipline or equivalent
combination of formal education and applied experience providing broad
understanding of general business and financial practices as well as
understanding of Materials theory, practices and techniques. Typical incumbents
will have at least two to three years experience in one or more of the primary
responsibility areas listed above, plus additional one to two years experience
in supervising a materials function.
